Fish Hunt Events

Shark Hunt

Every 15 minutes, a Shark Hunt will begin and a fishing spot with a beacon will randomly spawn in the Ocean.

When fishing at the Shark Hunt fishing spot, players have increased luck of catching sharks.

• Thresh Shark (Legendary, otherwise found at Pirate Fort)
• Great White Shark (Legendary, otherwise found in the Ocean)
• Hammerhead Shark (Mythic, otherwise found at Anchor Island)

These three sharks are the only Legendary and Mythic fish that can be caught at Shark Hunt fishing spots.

Each Shark Hunt lasts for 15 minutes.

Kraken Hunt

Krakens can only be caught during Kraken Hunts, which last for 2 hours each.

Krakens cannot be caught anywhere on the map except for Kraken Hunt fishing spots.

Odds of catching a Kraken are 1 in 1 Million, unless you have the Kraken Catcher rod, which increases Kraken Luck by 15%.

Weather Events

Windy

During Windy weather events, all players receive a 50% fishing speed boost.

The Windy weather event can be purchased for 1.00K Gold.

Cloudy

During Cloudy weather events, all players receive a 30% boost to rarity luck.

The Cloudy weather event can be purchased for 2.00K Gold.

Stormy

During Stormy weather events, all players receive a 50% boost to mutation luck.

The Stormy weather event can be purchased for 3.00K Gold.

Normal

This is the default weather in-game, which grants no bonuses. Normal weather cannot be purchased.

Weather Shop

Weather Events can each be purchased from Admiral Matt at the Weather Shop, located at the Lighthouse.

Purchasing a Weather Event simply interrupts the current Weather Event at whichever point in the cycle it's currently in.

This means that if the current weather cycle is due to change in 1 minute, the purchased Weather Event will only last for 1 minute. (This is a known issue.)

Weather Event Cycle

Normal → Windy → Normal → Cloudy → Normal → Stormy → (Cycle Repeats)

Every 4 minutes, the weather changes in-game. Each Weather Event lasts 4 minutes.

Day/Night Cycle

Every 6 hours in-game, a new Time of Day begins, represented by a change in lighting.

Some fish can only be caught during certain Times of Day.

• Sun Fish (Sand Castle)

Nighttime-Exclusive Fish

• Midnight Angel Fish (Anchor Island)
• Skate (Pirate Fort)
• Moor (Ocean)
